Senior Mechanical Engineer – Racing Simulators

Location: North Brabant Region / Hybrid work possible
Salary: €3,500 - €4,500 per month
Contract: Full-time

About the role:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the full technical development of racing simulators. You'll be part of a compact, ambitious engineering team and oversee the entire development process, from the first sketch to production. Your work ensures the simulators perform exceptionally, are scalable, and stand out visually.

What will you do?

  • Design, develop, and test new racing simulators.
  • Improve and optimize existing models.
  • Conduct technical calculations, FEM analyses, and simulations.
  • Create technical drawings and production documentation.
  • Select smart and efficient production techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with production, software, and design teams.

What do you bring?

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar mechanical product development role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Design Engineering.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Experience with FEM/structural analysis and hands-on validation.
  • Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques (CNC, sheet metal, bending/welding, etc.).
  • Self-driven, analytical, and proactive.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; German is a plus.
