Our organization specializes in project management, design, and engineering of luxury yachts and unique vessels for commercial use. From renowned classic sailing yachts to luxury explorer yachts equipped with the latest high-tech innovations, we create exceptional designs. Additionally, we develop innovative commercial vessels for industries such as cruise shipping, marine construction, offshore, and port operations. Due to a growing order portfolio, we are expanding our team.

What Will You Do?

As a Senior Naval Architect, you will work within an international and diverse team of professionals. You will be involved in projects from the concept or preliminary phase, supporting them with technical drawings, calculations, and/or designs. Your main focus will be on ship structure design, supporting calculations, and creating engineering models for production information. Occasionally, you will also contribute to research and development projects.

What Do We Expect from You?

You have extensive experience in ship or yacht building, particularly in design and engineering processes. You naturally possess leadership skills and persuasiveness, enabling you to convince not only your direct project team members but also the rest of the organization, subcontractors, and co-makers.

You are accustomed to working on large-scale projects with corresponding budgets. Delivering a project on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards motivates you. Additionally, you bring:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or Maritime Technology.
  • Proven experience in ship design and engineering, preferably at an independent design firm.
  • Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, Bentley/Maxsurf, and ShipConstructor.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus.
  • Additional knowledge of other disciplines that play a key role in ship and yacht design.
  • The ability to analyze process needs to meet client expectations.
  • A proactive approach to generating actions that improve project outcomes.
