Offer:

Profile:

You have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree, for example, in mechanical engineering or mechatronics. You have several years of experience as a lead engineer and now want to apply this experience to complex projects. You possess excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively. You are results-oriented, cost-conscious, and skilled in planning and organizing. You are proficient in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written. You are willing and able to travel to (mainly) Asia a few times a year.

Job Description:

As Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for translating customer orders into reliable technical solutions and guiding these orders through the organization. You will take the lead within the team and oversee both the quality and progress of projects. Close collaboration with various internal departments is essential, and you will report to the Commercial Project Manager (CPM).

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Project-based development of customer orders into reliable technical solutions, in collaboration with a team. Assessing customer orders and advising on possible solutions. Translating customer specifications into detailed design requirements. Managing the project team's content and monitoring quality and progress. Maintaining good communication and coordination with the CPM. Evaluating and approving designs based on cost, technical feasibility, and safety. Handing over the production dossier to Operations and conducting the kick-off. Providing support during procurement, assembly, installation, and troubleshooting. Assisting the sales and project manager in offering the right technical solutions and addressing specific technical questions. Documenting project information.
