Quality Assurance Engineer

Samenvatting: Vacature voor een Quality Assurance Engineer in de scheepsbouwindustrie in de regio Rotterdam Innovatief bedrijf dat maatwerk levert tot 140 meter lange schepen. Salaris tot €7.000 bruto per maand, afhankelijk van ervaring, met uitstekende secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden. De functie: De Qa Engineer is verantwoordelijk voor het continu verbeteren van processen, procedures en standaarden binnen de organisatie en bij haar stakeholders. Daarbij staat het borgen en bewaken van een uniforme werkwijze centraal. Dit wordt gehandhaafd door middel van interne audits, met als doel bij te dragen aan OSBIT (profitabiliteit) en waarde te creëren voor de organisatie, de aandeelhouder en haar klanten. Wie zoeken wij? Afgeronde Bachelor's or Master's opleiding 2-5 jaar relevante ervaring in de scheeps of -Jachtbouw.  Lead auditor ISO 9001, 45001, in combinatie met supplier audit ervaring.  Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal en kennis van MS Office. Je herkent jezelf in de volgende competenties: Betrokkenheid bij de organisatie, Zelfstandigheid, Nauwkeurigheid, Helikopterview. Wat bieden wij? Quality Assurance Engineer

Do you want to contribute to high-quality assurance in a dynamic and innovative testing environment? We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer with strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and an eye for detail to help optimize quality and safety processes. Your Responsibilities: Support all activities related to quality and safety. Actively contribute to the monitoring and improvement of processes within the test center. Prepare and maintain quality assurance and safety documentation, including QA manuals. Ensure correct implementation of customer requirements for all test activities. Manage the non-conformance control system and chair Non-Conformance Review Boards (NRB). Prepare, conduct, report, and follow up on internal/external audits and safety inspections. Organize and chair Facility Readiness Reviews (FRR) and other test reviews. Chair Safety Review Boards (SRB) and follow up on mitigation actions. Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation within the organization. Act as a point of contact for customer representatives regarding product assurance and safety. Co-administer QA-related software tools. Coordinate, prepare, and follow up on Configuration Change Board (CCB) meetings. Lead the Configuration Management Organization (CMO). Report to the Quality Assurance Manager and act as their deputy when required. Your Profile: A master's degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or technical sciences. Experience implementing management systems in compliance with quality and safety standards such as ISO9001, EN9100, and OHSAS 18001. Experience in product or quality assurance within a technical sector; knowledge of relevant European standards is an advantage. Strong organizational and communication skills. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on innovation. Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team. Fluent English language skills.
