Goal of the Position

  • Managing and monitoring quality processes during production.
  • Handling quality reviews during production and resolving supplier issues/nonconformities.
  • Monitoring materials for defects and resolving quality issues.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers to improve product quality.

Main Outlines of the Position:

  • Ensure correct execution of processes and procedures during production, report results, and signal deviations (NonConformance Reports).
  • Initiate, organize, and supervise the process of handling deviations, proposing solutions, and coordinating with designers, production, clients, and suppliers.
  • Check adherence to specifications during regular production, integration, and repairs; suspend work if necessary.
  • Approve productionrelated drawings and documents (e.g., Ground Support Equipment and tooling) according to quality process requirements and signal deviations.
  • Monitor and control the resolution of inconsistencies or deviations.
  • Perform delegated PA tasks such as supplier delivery reviews (DRB), Manufacturing and Test Reviews (MRR, TRR, PTR), and preparation of the End Item Data Package (EIDP).
  • Organize and chair the Non-Conformance Review Board (NRB).
  • Update configuration documentation like CIDL, ABCL, etc.
  • Prepare and present quality metric reports to Product Assurance or the Head of Quality.
  • Inspect supplierdelivered parts or in-house produced assemblies, check accompanying documentation, and register quality reports in the documentation or ERP system.
  • Perform final inspections on finished goods at customer and supplier levels according to projectspecific standards.
  • Safety Monitoring:
  • Assist the safety officer with monitoring and following up on safetyrelated incidents or improvements.

Internal and External Communication:

Internal:

  • Coordinate work and handle deviations with colleagues within the quality department.
  • Detect nonconformities with production teams and have the authority to stop the production flow to investigate and solve problems.

External:

  • Coordinate work, identify deviations, and coordinate solutions with suppliers and customers, including followup on actions.
